In 2022 we gave £250 to the RUH to support their Stitch in Time for older patients.
The monies funded the purchase of art materials for patients to use supported by the resident artists. This was much appreciated by patients who enjoyed creating artworks for their bays in the wards.
These activities can also give a sense of purpose and of contributing to the ward, when so often the experience of a patient must feel a very passive one.
